grading & site prep

We prepare sites for construction by establishing proper grades, drainage, and building pads. Our work sets the baseline for utilities, foundations, and pavement to follow without rework or delays.

Grading & Site Prep Experts

BUILT ON CORRECT GRADES

Grading defines how a site behaves. We establish elevations, slopes, and drainage paths that manage water, prevent settlement, and support the loads the site is designed to carry.

Our work focuses on accuracy, stability, and site performance.

Site Performance

BUILT TO HOLD

A properly graded site doesn’t shift, pond, or fight gravity. Pads stay where they’re placed, water moves where it’s supposed to, and access holds under traffic and weather.

That’s the standard we work to.

Our Approach

HOW we execute

Grading is executed in a controlled sequence, starting with rough cut to establish overall elevations and drainage direction. From there, we refine slopes, transitions, and subgrades while managing material and moisture to maintain stability throughout the site.

Final grades are dialed in with attention to drainage paths, pad elevations, and access, ensuring the site performs as designed under traffic, weather, and long-term use. Elevations are verified in the field and adjusted as conditions dictate, accounting for soil behavior and site variables that don’t always show up on plans.

The result is grading that holds after construction, not just lines that look right on paper.

ELEVATIONS & TOLERANCES

Finished grades, building pads, and transitions are set to plan elevations and checked in the field. Work is adjusted as needed so grades hold after construction, not just at final trim.

DRAINAGE & WATER CONTROL

Slopes, swales, and flow paths are shaped to move water intentionally across the site. The goal is to prevent ponding, erosion, and long-term drainage issues once the site is in use.

STABLE SUBGRADES

Subgrades are prepared to support traffic, pavement, and structures without shifting or settling. Material conditions and compaction are managed so surfaces perform under load and weather.
